The Cornwall Music Therapy Trust is one of the key music and arts organisations in partnership with Music Cornwall, the leading organisation for the new Cornwall Music Hub, working together to bring a vibrant and innovative music to the children and young people of Cornwall.

Over the last five years, The Cornwall Music Therapy Trust has contributed over £200,000 to Cornwall Learning to support music therapy projects.

 

We are delighted that

THE CABARET CLUB, MAWGAN PORTH has chosen to support the Cornwall Music Therapy Trust during their show week Saturday 16th to Saturday 23rd March 2013.  Members of the Club are hoping to make this a permanent link as we are charity that very much reflects the ethos and values of  the club

.........and Camborne School of Mines will be supporting the Trust during their Rag Week - a week of events from the 3rd to the 9th of February

The Trust is delighted to have secured continued funding from The Rank Foundation for £25,000 annually for three years, and £12,500 from Duchy Hospital Charitable Trust. Other recent grants include £5,000 from the Clare Milne Trust and £7,950 from Awards4All for specific projects, grants from the Pirate Trust, the Concertina Trust and ongoing support from CLIC and from SEN & I for raising awareness.

 

 

The service has increased its involvement with adults, and is now working with autistic clients, aphasia and dementia patients and has plans to extend these initiatives further. The Kings Fund has jointly sponsored a research project on the dementia ward at Bodmin Hospital with excellent results.
