Golowan Concerts Raise £2630

For the eighth year running Penzance’s Golowan Festival in June 2016 has featured a series of concerts performed by ‘Tim Boulton and Friends’ in aid of Cornwall Music Therapy Trust.

This year the concerts took place at St. Mary’s Church Penzance, with Rev. Sian Yates supporting the series by generously allowing the use of this beautiful building without charge.  All the performers also generously donated their services and absorbed their own costs too, allowing every penny of income from the concerts to go to CMTT, raising over £2,630 this year.

Musicians who took part in these concerts were:  Kirsten Mulcahy soprano Jake Barlow counter-tenor, Jess Angove, Tim Boulton, Georgia Ellery, Nat Jones, Phil Montgomery-Smith & Martha Prindl violin, Tim Boulton, Freya Hicks, Chris Prindl & Angus Webster viola, Iris Boulton, Barbara Degener, Danny Jones & Sam Whitby cello, Adrian Francis-Smith & Ted Francis-Smith bass Paul Comeau & Angus Webster piano/continuo, Jessye Boulton flute, Jacqueline Kershaw horn, Angus Webster conductor and The Corineus String Quartet.
