Research:

The Trust has undertaken a valuable service evaluation project which looked at how the service had developed what it currently does and considers what kinds of things we need to think about as we go into the future.  The Trust also funded an alignment project

The Trust will look to ways of developing research for the future in partnership with Higher Education Institutions.

The Trust has identified the following categories to be addressed over coming years

  • §  Rehabilitation Centres

  • §  Post natal depression

  • §  Offenders in Prisons/Probation

  • §  Youth Offending Team

  • §  Pupil Referral Units

  • §  Children’s Hospice

  • §  Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

Statements of Special Educational Needs

Trustees have been in negotiation with the Special Needs team of the Cornwall Council to attempt to establish the important principle that, in Cornwall, Music Therapy should be included in statements where appropriate.
